Well, this series has been enjoyable to write, and will provide memories all involved. But mostly mommy who arrives home today after her trip to Africa.
I think the kids were over excited yesterday, which had them hyper and moody. That is me prefacing that they had a bad day. Hitting, kicking, yelling, calling names. (M&m's are not sweet all the time ;). I didn't have a good day either which compounded the issue. I had people verbally hitting, kicking, yelling, and calling names... But this blog is not about me.
So after pick up we went to get Mad a haircut. He did really well, he went back by himself and talked to the lady very well while Madi and I sat out front. When she asked Mas what he was going to be for Halloween he told her, Batman. Then proceeded to inform her that I was Big Bird when I was a kid... You know the yellow one. We went to Freddys for dinner, but purposely told them we were not getting ice cream.
After we got home, the 3 of us Schafers in America butted heads for about 30 minutes. But after sitting down and talking we each saw the others point of view, and worked on our last of cleaning before mommy gets home. After completion we got out the guitars and played and danced. (I wanted to wear them out so I could sleep in the morning. I took the day off to squeeze out the last few adventures with the 3 amigos)
They went to bed fairly well, a little talkative. But like usual, when Madi decides to do something she does it 100%, and she was tired. Mas on the other hand will hold on from sleeping for as long as humanly possible.
